The main strength of a robotic player by far is the fact that you don't need glass to upgrade your HQ.
In a similar idea, you can make food, but don't make electrolysis reactors because then your lowering the oxygen price. Indeed, a strong idea is to attempt to remove and cotnrol as much silicon as you can to make it harder for someone else to make glass and bring it's price bakc down.
Make the most money and upgrade when your opponents sell down steel to buy glass to upgrade themselves. Instead, be efficient with what you have. Since the adjacency bonus change and the black market no longer guarantees new claims i've felt that robots cannot adequetly mine iron and steel enough to compete. Yes, that's right, robots don't make steel. This means if you have players going scavenger and robotic, don't play robot. Never play them when your opponents are not steel-making factions. Robots are situational, don't try to make them the standard. Never play it when you could play expansive instead. I am not a consistent robotic player, but when I do play him I have success, so i'll share my opinion: Promotional submissions that exceed "2 per 1 per 1"ĭuplicate results posts for the same individual match will be removed.
